PT, DPT, CSCS, Certified Rock Steady Boxing Clinician

Hi friends! My name is Lexi. I am a Physical Therapist based in NYC specializing in performing artists and sports and have the privilege of being a treating PT backstage on both on- and off-Broadway shows here in NYC. I am so excited to share my journey in PT with you!

Originally from St. Louis, MO, I got my Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Southern Illinois University – Edwardsville. I have a real passion for exercise and helping others, and I think that PT is the perfect blend of the two. In my free time, I practice Tae Kwon Do and love exploring NYC with my best friend, Haley.

I served as a class representative for my cohort in PT school, I am a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), and a Certified Rock Steady Boxing Clinician. I have done clinical experiences in inpatient/acute care, outpatient orthopedics, vestibular rehabilitation, school based neuro-pediatrics, and dance medicine and performing arts.

I can’t wait to share my story and I hope you decide to stick around to learn and grow with me.

Why did Lexi Choose Physical Therapy?

“I chose Physical Therapy because it combines my passion for exercise and my love for helping others. I am specifically interested in exploring healthcare disparities both in the physical therapy field as well as the healthcare field in general.”

– Lexi Burski-Edwards., PT, DPT, CSCS

PT, DPT, CSCS, Certified Rock Steady Boxing

Hey y’all! My name is Haley. I’m so happy you stopped by our page! Currently, I’m a Physical Therapist based out of NYC in outpatient orthopedics, and even backstage on Broadway. I am a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), as well as a Rock Steady Boxing Certified Clinician.

I flew all the way across the country from a small county in Los Angeles, California. In 2019 I received my Bachelors of Science from University of California – Irvine, where I majored in Exercise Science and Physiology. I grew passionate for physical therapy after witnessing one of my closest friends tear her ACL, and watching her throughout her recovery process. I’m so excited to share this journey, and I hope to see you join us along for the ride!

Why did Haley Choose Physical Therapy?

“I choose Physical Therapy because I knew I wanted to take on a hands on approach to healthcare. I want to establish a personal connection with patients and help them achieve their goals through exercise!”

– Haley Williams, PT, DPT, CSCS
